Special “Thank You” to all who came to the book launch of “Not Forgotten: A Pacific Northwest Family Brings Their Soldier Home”

About 40 of our friends, both established and brand new, came to the official launch of “Not Forgotten: A Pacific Northwest Family Brings Their Soldier Home” on October 12 at Sans Souci West (former location of Old Natatorium Park).

We had lots of memorabilia and photos that were not in the book, and lots of food and drink.

I think Uncle Verne would have had a swell time!

Family and friends gathered at Sans Souci West Club House for the book launch on October 12, 2019.
The author reading from the book.
Grandkids Kara Nemeth and Dylan DePaulo run the registration table. Service with smiles!
This table had artwork and a sculpture that Lester LaVerne Zornes did while in high school at Lewis & Clark.
The infamous trunk with its own security system. Nobody opened it to find out. I don’t know why.
